Bonus AI Prompts

Welcome, I’m really glad you landed here. This space is for bonus AI prompts I come back to again and again in my own life as a mom. These aren’t meant to fix or optimize anything; they’re simply tools I use to think more clearly, lighten my mental load, and move through hard or heavy seasons with a little more compassion.

Use what helps. Leave the rest.

What I’m Not Carrying Into 2026

These are the questions I use to gently close a year and step into the next one with clarity instead of pressure. You can paste any of these into ChatGPT or write through them in a journal.

Name what you’re ready to release

Help me identify what I am still carrying from 2025 that no longer serves me emotionally, mentally, or spiritually.

Separate what’s mine from what isn’t

Help me see which expectations, responsibilities, or guilt I’ve been holding that do not actually belong to me.

Honor what I survived

Help me reflect on the hardest parts of 2025 and how I showed up even when it was heavy.

Keep what matters

Help me clarify what parts of this year I want to bring with me into 2026, including the people, habits, and moments that made me feel grounded and alive.

Define a year that feels good

Help me imagine what a good year would feel like for me in 2026, not what it would look like to others.

Set gentle intentions

Help me create a few simple intentions for 2026 that support my real life as a mom, partner, and working woman.

Name what you’re ready to release

Help me identify what I am still carrying from 2025 that no longer serves me emotionally, mentally, or spiritually.

You don’t have to close out a year perfectly for it to be meaningful. Even noticing what you’re ready to release is enough.
Come back to these whenever things feel loud or heavy. Let them support you in carrying only what truly belongs with you into 2026.

Bonus Prompts for Closing the Year Gently

Gentle reflection for a heavy season.

A Gentle Look Back

Help me reflect on this past year as a mom in a compassionate way. I don’t want to focus on productivity or accomplishments. I want to notice emotional growth, resilience, and the ways I showed up even when things felt hard.

The Mental Load I’ve Been Carrying

Help me name everything I’ve been mentally carrying this year, the invisible responsibilities, planning, worry, and emotional labor, and help me decide what I can release or simplify going into the new year.

What Was Actually Enough

Help me make a list of what was truly “enough” this year, even on the days I felt behind. Focus on intention, care, and effort, not outcomes.

How Motherhood Changed Me

Help me reflect on how motherhood changed me this year, mentally, emotionally, and practically, without labeling those changes as good or bad. I want understanding, not judgment.

Redefining Success for My Current Season

Based on my current season of motherhood, help me redefine what success should look like next year in a way that prioritizes mental health, presence, and sustainability.

Simple Systems, Not Big Goals

Help me create a few simple systems for the new year that support my real life as a mom,  not an idealized version of what I think I should be doing.

These prompts aren’t here to push you into becoming someone new. They’re simply a place to pause, reflect, and close the year with a little more clarity and a lot less pressure. Take what feels helpful, move at your own pace, and remember that you’re allowed to begin again gently, in your own time.
